Isla is OBSESSED with her "Snowman Jams." She got them in 2010 from Granma Suzi & Grandpa Don and they are still her favorites. Santa brought her and "Brudder" new snowman jams this year, but Isla still prefers to squeeze into the originals.

I was planning to take a picture of Isaac and his best friend, Baby Samuel, who is still in his Mama's tummy, but I forgot to bring my camera when we went over to their house for one of our Mexican feasts. It was a shame because Isla and Michael were in rare form and had an absolute blast staying up way past their bedtime and acting like little goofballs. I took this picture today - check out the lovely hand shadow - of some pictures taken on February 20th. Isaac had his appointment to be evaluated for Dynamic Orthotic Cranioplasty (aka - the DOC band, aka - a helmet to reshape his odd shaped head.).

After getting the "all clear" from Isaac's pediatrician, we start "Ferberizing" him on Friday. The actual sleep training is nothing like they describe in "Meet the Fockers." We used this strategy with Isla and it worked like a charm! Here is Isaac on night #2. Sleeping like a baby!

My Grandpa Bill (Isla's Gr. Gr. Bill) loves to find unique gifts. Isla received this GIANT book of animals for her birthday. Things were so hectic that I saved it until after everyone left. She was really excited to get an additional gift and wants to read it everyday. The animals are so big that it is like visiting the Zoo. I call it our, "Rainy Day Safari." It is so huge we keep it under the bed!

Isaac is getting so close to rolling over. It is amazing how this just kicked in for both Isla and Isaac. Now Isaac likes to practice whenever he can. One of the perks - rolling on his side to look in the mirror. This photo reminds me of this.

Another day I forgot to take a photo! Yikes! I need to get my act together. Andrew stayed home in the morning & we took both kiddos in for their 3 year and 4 month appointments. Our pedi recommended a surgeon for Isaac and we have a consult with him on March 5th. Here's Isla's cake & cupcakes from her party. I'm so proud of it!

I got "Tangled" up in all the party planning & forgot to take a picture. Here's another magical Disney moment. Meeting Rapunzel was overwhelming for Isla. It was the 1st Princess she met and she was completely overwhelmed. Rapunzel had clearly met other shy fans, because she knew just what to do. Flynn headed off towards the back of the room and Rapunzel came over a knelt down & talked with Isla.

This is what I lived on during this hell week of no sleep. Bags and bags of Trader Joe's peppermint saltwater taffy, on clearance for 1$. ...and I wonder why I can't drop the baby weight...

Ike did not get his 1st February off to a good start. I was up all night with him doing steam showers and counting his respitory rate and calling my RN-on-call (aka - Mom). Isaac's respiratory rate was over 60 most of the night and tylenol didn't do much for his fever. When I called the Pedi in the AM, the nurse said I should have taken him to the ER. Now I know - high respiratory rate for over an hour = ER at night or Pedi during the day. He didn't need to go in though in the AM. He was doing much better.

#30 - Sauna Time

Ike got really sick this week. I think it may have been RSV, because Isla's classmates had it and she was also sick, but Isaac was never tested. He was coughing a bunch and the only thing that helped was putting him in the bathroom with the fan off and blasting the shower on high heat. He seemed to like his little steam room.
